From December 2017 until April 2022, I I held the title of Corporate Merchandising and Marketing Communications Manager for The Green Door. Currently, The Green Door has 5 storefronts in Michigan.

I was first introduced to cannabis in 2013 after my father, who was a caregiver at the time, approached me about becoming a medical cannabis patient to help treat my epilepsy, anxiety, and chronic pain. Amazed by what cannabis could do for me, I decided to make a career shift in 2017 when my parents opened the first Green Door location in Bangor, Michigan, where I started out as a budtender. Cannabis also helped me while trying to manage a rare digestive disorder I developed in my mid-twenties.

I credit my professional involvement in the cannabis industry to my family. In addition to opening The Green Door, they also opened Pure Michigan Growers, a 12,000 square-foot, class A, grow facility, in 2018. Both companies are vertically integrated.

As the Corporate Merchandising and Marketing Communications Manager for The Green Door, my duties included acting as the head of the corporate marketing division, creating advertising content and materials for all advertising platforms, managing and ordering incoming merchandise for all Green Door locations and acting as the voice over artist for all Green Door radio commercials. Until March 2021, I was also the Assistant Hiring Manager for Pure Michigan Growers.

Outside of the cannabis industry, I enjoy spending time with my dogs, Ringo and Cooper. I also own a cottage food business, Tranquil Tummy Confections, which focuses on creating dietary sensitive baked goods— a passion that stemmed from dealing with my digestive disorder before it went into remission.
